Jenkins Centrifuge story begins in 1966 in small industrial area of Kansas City, MO. At the time the company operated as Jenkins Industrial Machine works and had a reputation of being able to handle any request sent its way, no matter how unusual or complicated.

It wasn’t until 1970 that we saw our biggest challenge which would eventually lead to our greatest opportunity.  We received a centrifuge in for repair from a local hide tanning company in Kansas City. This customer was so impressed they called everyone they knew in rendering to tell them about this small machine shop in Kansas City that did top quality centrifuge repairs.

This niche became our sole focus in 1972 when we separated the machine shop and centrifuge operations and began operating under the Jenkins Centrifuge brand. At the time we were the first and only company in the US to focus its entire operation on horizontal centrifuge repair.  We still remain the largest family owned, centrifuge repair company in the US.
